Globalizing Web Blog by TEO Administrator

This site was built as a sample of the Globalizing Web, revising extensively the Community Starter Kit available at Microsoft ASP Net site. In order to incorporate the Globalizing Web structure, each language culture is to be represented by the corresponding communities and the corresponding folders containing tables and skins for each culture and bearing its culture name such as en-US or ja-JP. Now, I am starting a blog to record what I will be doing to further develop this site.

Created the Model Page for my Table Management pages, but this model did not work for the Web connection.

Before I develop a new administration page to manage comments/trackbacks, I decided to review the new GridView/DetailsView, in order to find out if I could skip the lengthy On_Init coding to create the delete/edit buttons in the DataGrid.

Testing the Image Posting function

I am now testing the Image posting function that was converted by the VB.Net To C# Converter software. I purchased this conversion software, as I wanted to find out the solution for retrieving the returned parameter value.

Back to Web Application Programming

Leaving the Porno attach problem behind by closing the Track Back gate permanently, I finally launched on the new version (?already old version – sigh!)of Visual Studio, ASP.Net 2.0. On the way, I have been bumping against the stumbling blocks presented by Windows Vista.
