Whenever my wife and my daughter join me in the walk, we always talk about you. We talk among ourselves many loving memories that you left with us. When I am walking alone, I always recall how you used to jump into the river, cooled yourself off in the water and ran up from the river. I yell at the river "Coty, Coty" as if I could call you back to me.
Since you are gone, I and my wife each had two surgeries, one each last year and this year. On August 20th, 2007, I had a green laser surgery at Englewood Hospital for my enlarged prostate. Contrary to what the doctor had told me, it proved to be not a simple surgery. I suffered from the post-surgery side effect for three months until the complete recovery. Three days after my surgery, my wife went under an angiography examination of her kidney at the same hospital, inserting a catheter into her blood vein at her thigh. Fortunately, this examination proved that there was no blockage of blood that had been under suspicion from an ultra-sound examination.
In this year, on January 10th, my wife went under a breast surgery, taking out the tumor, which fortunately was proved to be benign. Then, just this Monday (May 12), I went under the cataract surgery on my right eye in a New York hospital. I am still wearing a protective glass on the right eye to prevent infection, which I cannot remove until this coming Saturday. When I see the computer screen through a hole on the protective glass, characters come out much clearer with my right eye. Before the surgery, I could hardly read characters with my left eye covered. When my right eye is completely cured without infection, I will receive my surgery on my left eye, which is still much better than my right eye used to be.
My Love Coty, this blog message to you and the photo gallery to be attached to this will be loaded with the new C# program that I wrote with Visual Basic 2005. Hopefully, this first test of the new program works successfully.
