After the previous blog to you, the cataract surgery on my left eye finished up very well and I can see very clearly with both eyes. At the eye examination at the end of October, the doctor found my eyes in very good condition and the glass prescriptions remain the same as pre-surgeries. From the end of the summer through the autumn, I went under the gastroscopy and colonoscopy examinations, while my wife received only the gastroscopy examination. Although a polyp was found in my stomach, it proved to be completely benign and the existing hernia needs no treatment and will cause no problem according to the doctor. With the colonoscopy, the doctor found my colon in very good condition with no polyp and the next examination can be in three years. However, H.pylori and the inflammation were found in my wife’s stomach. Furthermore, mold was found on her esophagus and she received the medications for these troubles. After finishing these treatments with medication, her H.pylori test proved to be negative. However, she had to cancel her colonoscopy examination.
My love Coty, this week from 24th through 28th, I followed the paths I walked with you exactly on the same days three years ago. On 24th, I took the bus and the subway to the Warner Brother Building in New York Columbus Circle, where we watched the Thanksgiving parade with you on the 3rd floor. From there, I walked through the Central Park following the path we walked together past the ice-skating rink and to the pond on the eastern side. Then, I extended the trip to the path that we walked on 22nd. You remember that we had to take you to the AMC hospital for a treatment and we walked in the Park before the hospital visit up to the Bow Bridge, where we took your picture with the colorful raincoat.
On 25th and 26th, I went to the Tallman Mountain and the Lookout. On the way back, I dropped in the Chinese bakery in Tenafly and recalled the sweat memories of yours; remembering how you devoured the soft bread from the bakery on the back sheet of our car and how you ran from the car to the CafeCafe outdoor table and secured the lunch place for us to eat together. On 27th and 28th, I went to Saddle Brook Park where we had gone together so often. Although you did not jump into the water at that time as it was already cold, I shouted “Coty” to the river as if I were calling you back from the heaven.
