Continuing from the study of Professional ASP.NET 3.5 Book, that I completed last autumn, I am now about to finish the studies of AJAX, the new Web technology, and the Web 2.0 Portal Model, which is the full implementation of AJAX technology. I have created all the records of these studies in the Website 8. Now, I have a plan to create a new web site based upon that Model, which I will start right after finishing this blog for you. In the new site, I will first build the family portal to serve as the gathering site of my family; for ourselves here in Dorincourt, Youichi's family in Tokyo and Yuki in West New York. Each member of the family including our grandchildren should carry their own portal, which should be accessible to every one of the family.
Along with the family portal, my plan is to build the portal to host some couples of bilingual blogs, either in English/Japanese or German/Japanese. For these couple bilingual blogs, I should like to combine two different blogs each representing their own native language into a partnership. The original blog text of each language is first translated automatically to the other language using the translation service of Google. Then, each partner will touch up the machine text of the other partner to refine it into the natural language text. When the public accesses those coupled blogs, they will be directed to the language version, which is registered on their own browsers. This should be my dream portal site, which may be in the scope of the current Web technology, although it may be very difficult for me to create one.
My Love Coty! As I promised last time, I am attaching your pictures taken in 2001 Winter-Spring. I was somewhat surprised that there were only few pictures of yours during this period. Because Youichi just got engaged with Natsuko at that time, Kiyo was in Japan with them and probably not around us to take your pictures.
