My dearest Coty! I am posting your picture taken on your last day. As I walked into the Lexus Service facility, you were gazing at the Lexus gate with the luxurious residences in your back. Whenever you lost me, you always kept on looking for me. Thank you Coty.

To More Photos...
[June 11 Sunday] Anxious to meet Coty, we started home early in the morning and headed for Abbingdon Hill Pet Animal Cemetery where Coty had been sleeping. It is a very quiet and peaceful country place in Hudson Valley. As we walked to the end of the hallway, we found with the name “Coty” hung on the door. Coty was sleeping on the altar in that room peacefully. He looked exactly the same as his last moment two days ago but he was cold. We petted him for some time and my daughter cut out his hair to keep it as our eternal memory. We all were very glad to have chosen this place to put him to rest, as he must have liked this place very much if he had been alive. His body was brought to the cremation cabin and we went there to bode farewell to his body.

Three and a half hours later, we came back to the cremation cabin and saw the remains of his body, from which we had a few teeth collected and put them in a small container. I intend to carry this container with me when I walk in the places where I had walked with him. We had the rest of the remains placed in the mahogany urn which we brought from home. I held the urn in my hands and said to him, “Coty, let’s go home now.” On the way back home, my daughter drove the car, while I held the urn on my lap in the back sheet. When we arrived home, I said to him again, “Coty, we are home now. You will be with us all the time.”

[June 12 Monday] Dear Coty! As you are no longer able to write your blog, I decided to take your blog and make it a place to talk to you from time to time. Today, I should like to tell you of my new resolution. I will continue to walk everyday with the bag I always carried for you. Instead of paper sheets and plastic bags to pick up your droppings, I will put the small container with your teeth in it and walk with you. Today, I went with your mistress to Saddle River County Park. After walking one hour, we sat at the same picnic table that we took lunch with you on April 29. We ate the home made lunch box and also offered to you one of your favorites, a cream breed cake. Was that good?
